Personal or project: delete the skill directory.

Find the folder you added (for example Claude ~/.claude/skills/<name>/ or .claude/skills/<name>/, Cursor ~/.cursor/skills/ or .cursor/skills/). Delete that skill directory. Claude Code drops it from /skills in the current session. Cursor and VS Code pick up folder changes from their skill locations.

If you added via npx skills.

Remove the skill folders that command wrote on disk. This page does not document an npx skills remove flag — that command was not verified on the CLI help at write time. Do not invent one. Deleting the installed folder is the removal that matches install-once.

Synced Claude.ai and plugin skills.

Only if you installed that way: Claude.ai synced skills come back if they stay enabled on the account — turn the skill off there, or a later sync restores ~/.claude/skills/synced/. Plugin skills need the plugin disabled or uninstalled (Claude: /plugin; Hermes hub skills: hermes skills uninstall <name> as named on the Hermes skills page).

Uninstall does not delete the GitHub pack or the shop page.

Removing a local folder does not change github.com/iruhdam1/skills or /skills. You can Get skill again any time.
